Paper and card can be recycled, but only a limited number of times before the fibres break down. Although manufacturers are starting to use paper instead of plastic for packaging, this doesn’t make the problem go away.
Reduce use of paper and card where you can. Print double sided. Reuse single-sided printing as scrap paper for writing notes and shopping lists. Use cardboard boxes for storage instead of buying plastic crates.
Take your own containers when you shop instead of talking single-use bags each time, whether paper or plastic.
